topic PIXMA MG3650S Wi-Fi connection failure in Printer Software & Networking

We have recently changed our internet provider to Starlink. Afterwards, I had great difficulty in getting the printer to work, it just would not connect.

however, I did eventually achieve success and everything was fine until we had a power cut. Since then I cannot get the printer to connect.
the printer in question is an mg3600. Can I get any help please otherwise it’s destined for the scrap which is infuriating as it has been working fine. By the way, perhaps I should say I’m in the UK

Thanks for joining the conversation, tadcu!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA MG3600 series. The model number should appear on the front of the printer at the lower right. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Greetings,

Log into your StarLink admin portal and ensure the device is configured and broadcasting a dedicated 2.4Ghz wireless broadcast that uses WPA2 / AES encryption. This might mean naming each broadcast 2.4 / 5G (at least temporarily) with a unique name while connecting. Then re-run the printer's set up program.
