IX6820 - WIN 10 Pro - how to disconnect wireless

There is nothing in the manual re how to disconnect wirelessl Pressing the WiFi blue icon does not do that.

The printer is not accepting file to be printed from my computer so I would like to connect the two via a usb cable.

Hi mjhampstead,

You can change the connection type by re-installing the printer driver.

Disconnect the USB cable until prompted.
Click HERE.
Scroll down to "Optional Drivers."
Click “Select” next to "iX6800 series MP Driver."
Press "Download."
Open and run the file.
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

didn't work, installation went fine, followed software prompts for changing connection but wifi still connected.
