PIXMA MX882 won't accept access point without software

I have a Pixma MX882 but have issues with the software. I am looking for the install CD as Canon no longer supports this model and the drivers have not solved my issues. The issue is the printer will not accept the access point without the software to reset. Anyone who can help would be a great help to me.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MX882 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
