Really appreciate the help! Unfortunately, tried that one and getting same "cannot communicate with scanner" error msg. It communicates with the printer side just fine, as it always has, so the linkage is there. We have 2 new MacBook Airs, both running Sonoma 14, both having same scanner error we've never had before on this printer. With other Macs.

But hey, really appreciate the help all the same.

Not a new issue, based on the amount of traffic, but we are still unable to connect Macs running Sonoma 14 with the scanner on the TR7520 we've had for years and never had any issues with. Tried the IJ Scan Utility, IJ Scan Utility2, reinstalled drivers, removed/added, tried Airprint/scan, double-triple checked LAN settings etc.

Printer prints; printer does not scan. We like scan. Lots of people talking various fixes to similar issues; can Canon help?

Greetings,

The IJ scan utility lite was released 2 days ago. Sonoma specific. Did you try that one?

https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-tr7520
