PP&L doesn’t accept or open PDF

I have a new pro 200 and has Best Buy geek installed the Professional Print &Layout. But I can’t drag or open PDF/PNG photos onto it. Other JPG photos have no issue.

PP&L is for photo files. Not surprising that PDFs and PNGs don't open.

There are threads here about problems with DPP4 and non-Canon exported TIFFs having problems opening. Possibly same problem with PP&L.
