I set up my new printer (Pixma 7020) using a LAN connection. If I am using a LAN connection how can I use WIFI if I want to use my phone?

In most cases yes, but I have run into a few models that only support one or the other. My recommendation is pick one and use this for all devices. Once the printer is installed on the network, it doesn't matter how other devices connect, wired or wireless. All will be able to utilize the network printer. As an extra step, assigning it a static or reserved Iap ensures it will always use the same IP as it's destination.
