The last version of macOS that had a driver for that printer was El Capitan (according to the Canon support site).

It also seems to be not supported as an AirPrint printer.

Contact Canon about their obsolete printer support program. They offer a discount on a new printer.

I downloaded a driver from the Canon website but I don't know where it installed. any help? (downloaded network tool Ver.4.7.6 (Mac) . I used these instructions:

Procedures for the download and installation

1. Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.

2. Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.

3. Double-click the mounted Disk Image.

4. Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

but I don't see the driver listed in the "add printer" window.
