I have an older ipf8400 that I was using with Big Sur and Photoshop 2023. Recently, I started encountering an issue after upgrading from 11.7 to 11.7.8 where the print plugin would not send anything to the printer queue. In an attempt to fix the issue, I decided to upgrade to Ventura where now Photoshop crashes when the plugin is called. Ugh.

I'm on a 2020 iMac Intel 10-core. What in the heck is happening? I reverted back to Photoshop 2022, but same thing. The issue is compatibility with Ventura.

Before I painfully downgrade back to Big Sur 11.7 (last known working version), I want to know if there's anything else I should try? I did update the printer drivers but that didn't work either.

Thanks!

Did you ever find a solution to the print plugin? And how on earth do you go back to an old operating system? I have spent hours trying to make this work and cannot get the correct colors nor correct print layout on the paper now.

Just curious to know if anything worked.

Thanks!

I never did find a solution, or a response. What I did discover is that there were some jobs stuck in the print queue that I wasn't aware of. Once I selected them and deleted, then everything started working again! Perhaps this is your issue too? I am happy to report that I am on Ventura 13.6.4 and Photoshop 2024, using the most recent plugin 6.03 without any further issues. Hope this helps!
