MAXIFY MB5420 PDF Capabilities of Scanning Software

I currently have a Canon MX880 that has a MP Navigator Ex 4.1 installed. With this program I can scan and import documents instead of scanning directly to a PDF. I like this option to be able to pull documents from various scan dates and make a PDF. I am looking to purchase a new Canon model Maxify MB5420 and I need to know if I can use the current navigator or will I be able to get one for the MB5420 and use it like my current one. This is a must option for me.

Hi,

MP Navigator is not a program that comes with the Maxify MB5420. The model printer uses IJ Scan Utility. There is a chance that your current MP Navigator program and scan. Be advised though that since the Maxify normally uses IJ Scan Utility, I can't promise it will have full scan functionality in MP Navigator.
