topic Update notifications for Canon MFD driver updates / direct-download links in Printer Software & Networking

I support hundreds of Canon MFD's for managed macs. Currently, we have to just "check" the canon site for new drivers, mainly the Canon iR ADV & the imageCLASS models to get the two packages for macOS. I have three questions:

1. Is there a better to be notified of driver releases and download them directly?

2. Are there direct download links for the drivers?

3. Is there a notification that can be subscribed to?

At the moment I'm thinking of trying to figure out a way to create an AutoPKG recipe if it doesn't exist and try that route. I'd rather use something simpler if it exists. Thanks!

Hello Bhouston,

The best option to check for new drivers would be to check our support site for any updated drivers. The Image runner series are dealer supported. You can contact the closest dealer to you using the link HERE. To see what driver options/services they provide.
