topic MG6220 software compatible with Windows 11? in Printer Software & Networking

I recently bought a HP laptop with Windows 11 and it has no optical drive. I was wondering if I bought an external optical drive will I be able to load the software that came with my MG6220, and will it be compatible with Windows 11. I realize that there are no software/driver updates for my printer, but the printer is in excellent working condition, never any issues, and I'm familiar using it. A external drive would be way less expensive than buying a new printer. I can currently still print docs and photos, but only after a lot of manipulation and a file transfer to my iPad for docs or using memory card for photos.

Thanks!

Randy
