topic Windows 11 computer doesn't recognize Imageclass D550 printer in Printer Software & Networking

I downloaded the toolbox and driver for my Imageclass D550 printer when I got a Windows 11 computer. I struggled for more than an hour to get the computer to recognize the driver, but I cannot print or scan. Neither software recognizes the D550, which was working fine with my old computer. It is on and is connected. What could be the problem?
