Won't stay in Cassette feed when turning back on

2 Issues with the printer. When I turn it on after it sleeps it does not default to the setting of Cassette for paper source it goes back to Rear Tray.

Also I tried to set it not to go to sleep but that doesn't work either.

We know you are using "the printer" with MAC OS Monterey.
