Connecting my PIXMA MX922 to my HP laptop without CD drive

Looking for guidance on how to connect my Canon MX922 printer to my HP laptop. Laptop doesn't have a place to put a cd disk.

Since it is an HP it is a Windows computer?

Select This PC and then System Properties. from your home screen

However, the Canon website will usually automatically identify your OS:
