MF240 v5.20 installer will not detect printer over wired network

The latest MF240 driver (v5.20) will not detect the network attached MF247dw printer on Windows 11. Windows 11 did detect it when adding it via the OS and downloaded its drivers. The MF Scan Utility will not work correctly with just the OS installed driver.

The Firewall has been disabled and the installer still can't detect the printer.

Hello AV tech,

If the printer is on the network and the setup is unable to detect the printer over the network, it could be caused by the network environment or something blocking the setup. In this situation, I would suggest contacting support at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would happy to check in depth to see what is preventing the setup from finding the printer.
