topic GX7050 WiFi always connects to router instead of local access point with better signal in Printer Software & Networking

My GX7050 (Firmware 1.090) ist located in my office about 2m away from a WiFi AccessPoint (same WiFi-Settings as the router, wired LAN connection to the router). But the printer always connects to the router WiFi, which is two floors below the office. This results to low signal strength (Printer UI says 38%) and connection loss (printer is shown offline, no connenction to remote UI). All other devices in the office connect to the nearest access point, but the printer refused to to so.

How to make the printer connect to the access point with better or best signal strength?
