PIXMA MG7720 scanner drivers

I have a PIXMA MG7720 that has worked great for years. we use Macs. I recently upgraded my Mac to Mac OS 12.1 (Monterey). There was an updated printer driver listed for this version of Mac OS but not a scanner driver.

When I try to scan I get the following: "Canon IJ Utility2 needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information."

I have not been able to get anywhere on trying to to find out where and/or if there is a scanner driver for this scanner/printer that works with Mac OS12.1 (or even MacOS 11)
