    <description>&lt;P&gt;It depends on the compression. If it is lossless like .zip, it shouldn't matter. If it is lossy, like JPEG, you don't have a raw file anymore.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Google photos unlimited storage will compress any files over 16mb. If I shoot with the highest quality JPEG, will these files be affected? also will I be loosing important information when it compresses rthe RAW files? Thank you!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't think you can compress a RAW file AND most photo sharing sites don't recognize them.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
