Use exteranl display screen

Hello,

I'm using the powershot sd940 is.

Im taking some stillifes in a studio with my computer nearby. Is there anyway to use my monitor as the viewfinder/display screen? I want to be able to set up the angle and shot using a larger display.

Yes you can veiw it on an external monitor or TV as long as that monitor or TV has either a HDMI input or an Audio Video (AV) input. The camera should have come with the AV cable but the HDMI cable you'll have to purchase depending on what works for you...look at your user guide starting on Page 111-112

Got it to work with the av cable to my tv...Ill have to buy the hdmi cable to get it to work with my monitor...Thanks for the help

your quite welcome! You'll get better image quality with the HDMI cable too
