Hi,

I'm trying to upload pictures from my PowerShot SX600 HS to my Mac. I pressed the wi-fi button on the camera and then the laptop icon and then “Add a device…” It tells me it's using the correct wi-fi network as the access point. Then it says “Searching” and shows a spinning wheel for a couple minutes, and finally says “Device not found."

I've tried resettting the wi-fi settings on the camera and re-entering the device nickname and wi-fi network password, but I still hit the same wall. Please help.

Thanks,

Matt

I called tech support and they said Canon software does not yet support wi-fi uploading for Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan). (Even though 10.11 has been out for four months.) Fortunately the card reader works.
