topic Old PowerShort S45 Raw File Conversion in Point & Shoot Digital Cameras

I have a few old CRW files from a PowerShot S45. I am not sure how to convert them to JPEGs or TIFFs these days. The current version of ImageBrowser EX does not seem to handle them, and I do not know how to proceed. Running El Captian or a current iMac.

Before I posted here, I ran a similar Google query. My question for this forum is whether someone has experience with a particular software approach. Also it was not clear from the Google results, whether some tools listed supported the original raw standard in the .crw files or only the newer .cr2 version.

As I recall, the old ImageBrowser would intrepret the .crw files. It seems to obtain specific camera support in ImageBrowser EX, you need to connect that camera to even obtain software. Since my S45 is long dead, this approach is not possible.
