I'm not all that familiar with that particular camera, but Canon's PowerShot camera's scene modes do a decent job with the low light items. Keep in mind that the camera may lower the pixel resolution to achieve better low light performance, and the video will stop once it gets to 4GB, about a half hour of shooting time. You will then restart the video to continue for the next 1/2 hour.

Steve M.

I just bought a PowerShot SX610 HS camera. I will be going to Las Vegas soon and I want to ride a helicopter at night and get some shots and video of the Strip. Is there anything special I should do to get better pictures?

If I read the book right most everything should happen automatically. Is that correct?

Thanks.
