Is there any app on Windows 8.1 that can open Canon Power Shot ELPH 100 HS. It used to work in Windows Vista but not longer works. Please help, barbiedollstar

Thanks for posting.

Windows 8.1 should still recognize the camera when you connect it and power it on in playback. However, the older software you have is not compatible with Windows 8.1.

You may be able to use Canon Camera Window if you download the update from our website HERE by selecting Windows 7 as your operating system. If it is going to work, you need to have Microsoft .NET 3.5 installed.

Alternatively, you should be able to use the built-in image downloading function in Windows 8.1 to download images from the camera.
