How can I mount a monocular on the hot shoe of a PowerShot SX60?

Does your monocular have a tripod mount ? How much does it weight ?

It does not have a tripod mount. It has a weaver style mount for rifles and weighs 0.31pounds. (BSA RD30 monocular)

You can get a tripod mount like the one I listed then a cold shoe mount with a 1/4 -20 male thread for the tripod mount and do it that way

I saw what you are talking about, the red dot scope.

Your welcome Bob...BH Photo might have some tripod mounts for scopes as well as cold shoe mounts for the camera too
