Please help me connect my SX700 via usb cable

I have succesfully used WIF connection and Canon Image gateway on PC at home.

But now I want to simply download pictures using USB cable to work PC.

I Plug in SX700 (turning camera on etc)

Connects OK

PC automatically downloads drivers succesfully

On explorer I can "see" the camera attached as a device. SX700 etc

But I cannot "download" or access any images.

Tried Connecting to camera with latest Image Browser EX -(No camera found?)

Tried using Latest Zoombrowser - also nothing

Tried just opening with Windows - also nothing

Everything that I can read on your sites says this should be simple -

System - Windows 7 Pro

Please help.

Did you try the steps on Page 162 of manual?

Thanks but....

CameraWindow DC pops up onthe screen and I get the hourglass but nothing. Seems to be just the splash window.

Tried opening CameraWindow with the camera plugged in - nothing more than the splash window. I see in task manager camera window running but nothing happens
