Why we are unable to find updates of upcoming powershot camera ?

is it part of Markeeting strategy or for any other reason

All the latest Canon PowerShot Cameras are shown on Canon's website at http://usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/digital_cameras. There is also a latest news column on the Canon USA home page at http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/home. Typically, there are only a few new announcements each year around the time of trade shows when new cameras are released. There are other sites that cater to rumors of new cameras, but the forum is mainly for assistance with issues that come up with the cameras and software that others can give advice on.

What? The Powershot G1X and G1X Mk II are not enough for you? They are truley fantastic P&S's and will rival many DSLR's.

I m looking for POWERSHOT HS series [ zoom series ] , I was waiting for new update on SX50 HS , but no upcoming update on that

In that case, recent rumors have surfaced over the web that Canon's next announcement will be SX60 HS camera.

But you should absolutely check out the G1x Mk II. It is the best P&S on the market now.

Im quite happy with my SX50HS and will be for a very long time...perhaps when the SX100 HS comes out...
