Pwr shot SX50 HS. Screen only works for review.......

Prefer using screen rather than viewfinder on this camera. However, the screen stopped working today. (For viewing subject) I can only frame shots, view menu, and change settings using the viewfinder.
The screen works fine, though, for reviewing pics I've already taken. Camera takes pics fine, etc. Full battery, space on SD card, lens cap off lol. What am I missing?

Yes, I understand. Press the DISPLAY Button. If you keep pressing this button you go through the various options and one will be the SCREEN.

Well, goodness. I knew that and I'd completely forgotten that. Shows what sleep deprivation will do. (Helping with brand new, FIRST grand baby, hence the picture taking frenzy!) In addition to someone else getting their hands on the camera yesterday and playing the "let's mash every button on here" game without my knowledge.
