    <description>&lt;P&gt;I think that's a good thing because it forces the camera to AF when turned on when there's a sudden need to get a photo. If you need to get a shot off fast due to circumstances that going to be a lot easier than trying manual focus or finding the righrt menu to switch it back.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a Canon A590IS . While I use MF, when the camera enters in stand by(the LCD turns off), the cameras changes the focus to normal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a way to avoid this/ the stand by/ turning off the LCD after some time ? It's really disturbing &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
