Have manufacturing flaws in the G-series been fixed or do screws still come loose and short the circuit boards?

I have never heard of this issue before and have been using the G series cameras for a number of years with no issues. Is this a new camera?

I have a G9 that was ruined because of the loose screw issue. It's been a widespread problem and was curious to know if this persists.

I haven't seen much at all about loose screws being an issue for the G Series cameras as of late. My G12 is over 3 years old with over 10,000 photos taken and no loose screw issues. Several of my friends also have quite a bit of use from their G12's and G15's with no screw issues either. Hopefully it was rectified!
