I went to authorized service center in Sao Paulo and CANON technician informed me that this problem is more common than usual, perhaps the manufactures have problems stocking of spare before going to pack and the battery is getting very dirty contacts which leaves with impaired functioning, ie, the problem has always been there, but not dirty contact information allows the correct amount of battery to be informed for the software.

I recommend everyone to clean up with a pencil rubber contacts both the battery and the camera.
