I have a PowerShot A710 IS camera and don't have the solution disk Can I use any Solution Disk or do I need a particular version?

SAJ,

If you are asking about the ZoomBrowser and DPP software, they are compatible with any Canon PowerShot camera. The later versions have some improved tools that the earlier versions didn't have, such as the ability to add text to the photo. I use the latest versions for my A510, SX150IS, and G12 cameras and have no issues at all.
