Memory Card error

I bought a 32 gb micro SDHC card. It is the same size as a regular SDHC Card. Is that why i am getting the error and can't use it?

Micro SD card is much smaller so I assum you use the Adapter. It should work fine. What error message did you receive? Make sure the card is not lock, and try to reformat it in camera before using.

it will not let me format in the camera. it is totally greyed out. i tried to put that card into a sony and it wouldn't accept it either

Hi sfdemt!

We recommend using a card that actually adheres to the full size SD standards. Micro SD card adapters may not work properly, and in some cases they may not even fit properly in the memory card slot.
