      <description>&lt;P&gt;New Canon user, noticed that on PowerShot A2300 in histogram display mode, some of the image highlights blink once a second. This is not mentioned in the manual. Is it a feature, or a bug?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Agree with above answer &amp;amp; once you know the photo is overexposed in some areas (usually the white or bright areas) use Exposure Compensation to fine tune and take another photo. Often though a little bit of overexposure can be considered normal in really bright conditions when there's a white area.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
