Hello & Merry Christmas to all,

Trying to find out what flash is made to work with the SX50. Seems like unless you have a DSLR, there isn't much info. I checked under Canon PowerShot. I'm very new to photo', so I'm asking a newbie question.

Speedlite or other brand flashes for the SX50 hotshoe. One that works with the camera, not just a 'flash'... Thanks

Last I checked Powershots do not come with printed manuals any longer. Download the PDF copy from Canon's website. If you don't need a bounce flash, I would get the 270EX II for it size and simplicity.
