    <description>Thanks Mike,&lt;BR /&gt;But I have been able to solve this problem (for now) with the on line help of Cannon Tech support.&lt;BR /&gt;Here is what you do-&lt;BR /&gt;Remove battery and memory card from camera. Hold the power button on for two minutes. Release and reinstall the battery. Try to take a picture. In my case there is no lens error anymore and I am able to take pictures just like before. It has been three days now. Hope it keeps working.&lt;BR /&gt;Certainly worth a try.&lt;BR /&gt;PCT</description>
