topic Canon PowerShot V1 and Hot and Stuck pixels issue in Point & Shoot Digital Cameras

I bought a PowerShot V1 camera half a year ago, during which time 4 hot/stuck pixels appeared, a couple of them are very bright. How can I correct this deficiency? I live in the Philippines and bought a camera on the SHOPEE platform and as it turned out, my camera was sent from Hong Kong and released for the Hong Kong market. After contacting the service center in the Philippines, I was denied warranty service. It seems that the problem is small and you need just to remap a few pixels, but this camera does not provide such an opportunity to do this yourself.

Sounds like you should have returned the camera immediately. it's never wise to buy a camera intended for sale in another country or region. Now you're stuck with a device that can't be serviced where you live. To my knowledge the only way to have pixels remapped on the V1 is to send it to Canon. There's no way for us to advise you how to do that if you've purchased a grey market item and don't have access to a local authorized service facility.
