Canon PowerShot SX620 HS Shutter wont open when I turn it on

Hello, I have a PowerShot Sx620 HS and when I turn the camera on the lens shutter won’t open so I see a black with a line of light which is as much as it will open. Does anyone know how to fix it or do I need to go to a camera shop?

No, I don't know how to fix it but check out used before you go for any repairs. Repair may cost more than replace with used.

You might try running a thin strip of paper in between the lens cover blades and move it around. This can dislodge dust/dirt that can cause it to stick.

Other than that, non-opening cover blades on these little point & shoots are typically telling you it's time to replace the camera.
