Powershot V10 has no Mirror option in settings -

Hello,

The Canon powershot V10 is a great starter vlogging camera. However, amongst all of the different settings, the one setting that is missing is the image mirror option. As a vlogger, some of us feel we look better when using a mirror image of what we see on the screen. Most phones have this feature. When filming selfie image with the front facing camera on my phone, I make sure that I set the preview image to mirror my position. Please update this and add this feature with your next firmware update.

Please update the Canon Powershot V10 with a mirror option when shooting, especially when selfie vlogging and shooting video

CANON POWERSHOT V10 - Issue a firmware update to not only to view - but to RECORD in Mirror mode!!!

This camera can do everything BUT record in Mirror mode! I don't understand why all smart phones have this feature but this camera doesn't. Why is that this camera only allows viewing in mirror mode but when recording, it doesn't save the file in mirror mode! If you are trying to compete with the other mainstream vlogging cameras on the market, this lack of an essential vlogging feature has placed you way behind! PLEASE INCLUDE THE OPTION TO RECORD IN MIRROR MODE and SAVE VIDEO in MIRROR MODE WITH YOUR NEXT FIRMWARE UPDATE FOR THE CANON POWERSHOT V10! it is ridiculous that i have to use a video editing tool just flip my recorded video - before uploading.

We get it. You want a mirroring mode. To have the right people at Canon see this, go to the canon USA home page and look for the little (+) feedback button
