It still makes the sound and has the red/orange light go off as if it should flash but it doesn't. Ive tried going through all the settings and changing them up to see if it would do anythign but nothing has worked. It needs fixing, but getting that done is not likely, and would cost much more than finding another camera. The market has mostly moved away from this class of camera because of smartphones.
