Hello! I have used this camera for many years and never encountered this problem. When I press the button for autofocus a dark area appears in a corner of the screen and the image is recorded with the black area. Occasionally, when I focus the camera, the black area does not appear and the image recorded does not have the black area, however, most of the images I took in the past couple of days have the black area. It appears that the black area correspond to the same area of the sensor, therefore it's in a certain position when the camera is horizontal and follows the rotation of the camera to the corresponding spot in the vertical image.

I have tried using a puffer on the lens, even though I don't see any deposit or smudge on the lens. I have tried removing the battery and memory card and hold the on/off button for 30 seconds before re-inserting the battery and restarting the camera. I have tried resetting the camera to factory standards. I have tried changing the battery to a freshly charged one and replaced the memory card. None of these things worked, and the screen still shows the black area on a corner, and that black is recorded in the image.

Thank you very much for your suggestions!
