This is very odd. You can't just "let" a computer upgrade from Windows 10 to 11. Not happening. A Windows 11 installation can be done to upgrade, using a Windows 11 installation medium.

Thank your co-worker for screwing up your computer.

I have been using the wireless feature on my Powershot SX620 HD to import pictures to a Windows 10 computer. Recently, unbeknownst to me, a co worker allowed the computer to upgrade to Windows 11 and now the wireless feature doesn't work. I have tried re-installing the software (windows 10 version), checked my services files and windows media streaming settings etc. The camera can't find the destination computer (device) that I have always used. It can find two other Windows 11 computers on the network which I find strange. I really want to use the wireless feature since destination computer is on a network that is distant from where the camera is used. The setup always worked flawlessly with Windows 10.

Hi dgmdvm,

The software the PowerShot SX620 HS uses to connect to computers through wifi is not compatible with Windows 11, so you will not be able to do a wireless connection to your Windows 11 computer. You can import your photos and videos using a USB card reader. To do that you would take the memory card out of the camera, load it into the USB card reader, and then use File Explorer to drag and drop the photos and videos into folders on your computer.

A poor choice of words on my part. Yes, I'm sure my co-worker clicked on the option to upgrade. She didn't realize the ramifications of the upgrade.
