You can get a USB-A to mini-b cable (or micro-b if that is what your camera takes). Plug it into the camera and the computer and the computer should take care of the rest.

Hi all,

I have a Canon Powershot SX40 HS camera. I want to transfer my pictures to my laptop which has Windows 11. I am unable to use the camera SD card as this computer does not have the same size SD outlet. Is this possible in some way for me to get it done? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
