Hi and welcome:
Since you have tried a reset and it hasn't worked out, I would suggest turning it off, remove the battery and card, and leave it for a day or so to let it go into deep discharge. Then put them back on and fire it up. If you get to a menu, then do the factory reset.

Hello, I recently started using my elph 170 is again. I accidentally changed the mode and now it seems to be stuck on auto and self timer and I can not get any other mode such as live. When I go to reset the camera settings it says busy. Is there a way to fix this issue? Thank you
