Gawd yes please. This camera fills a unique niche that no other camera fulfills. My sx720 took a dip and won't power up. Please bring it back,.or even better yet. Give us an updated version.

Odd... They appear on the Canon shop site for the US under Point and Shoot:
PowerShot SX740 HS Silver (canon.com) do you live somewhere else?
I live in relatively remote New Zealand and I did a local search for the SX740HS and found a whole list of places selling them here!

Yes! It is the size of a phone but no phone has 40x Optical Zoom so there must be a market for it.

Or even better an improved version with ext mic support.
