Hi, when I try turning on camera it says lens error restart camera. When this happens the lens part won’t come out, so it’s like stuck. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it.

Hi and welcome to the forum:

If you know that the battery has energy and is able to power the camera, very likely the motor that extends the lens and focuses it has died. Given that this is a 15 year old model, thus it is well past its support life, and it is unlikely that you can achieve a do-it-yourself repair, it might be time to consider investing in a new camera. The technology has improved greatly over the intervening period, so you will gain much benefit from that.
