canon powershot a510 buttons not working

hi there!

i noticed that my canon a510’s buttons stopped working so i tried replacing the AA batteries as well as the CR1220 battery but still no luck. the button that you use to take a picture still works but the menu, function, set, and display buttons don’t work when pressed. if anyone has any solutions, i’d be so grateful to hear them!
