Canon IXUS 135 - Distorted viewfinder and images, purple+white distortion

Hi all,

We've got a Canon IXUS 135 which has recently developed a fault - purple and white distortion.

The viewfinder and captured photos display the same thing - distortion in purple and white as seen in the images.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Almost certainly a dead sensor. Time to retire this camera.
