Greetings,

Sorry that your camera was dropped or knocked off a table or shelf.

The camera is 8 yrs old. I'm not sure of its serviceability. Also, it might not be economical as repair can often exceed the cost to replace in many cases.

It's best to start with MyCanon. Register the product and you will see your support options.

If repair is not possible or if it would exceed the cost of replacement, you can decide what direction you want to go in.

Hello,

I have the Canon SX420 IS. Recently it was knocked off of a surface about two feet off the ground and now when I try to zoom, the lens shifts to the right and covers part of the image with the black metal ring of the barrel. It is only fixed if I set the camera on a still surface and take the picture that way. Is there a fix for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
