Is canon power shot SX740 really worth it?

Hello! Badly want to hear your opinion on this as I have been seeking high quality compact digicams with a reasonable price. Instead of upgrading to iPhone 15 pro, I came to consider getting a digicam instead. Just a disclaimer, this ain’t for professional photography.. this is for capturing memories only and I just love taking pictures so much!!! Luv to hear your thoughts!

Hi Jolly,

I would get a camera with a 1" sensor as it would be better in low light situations. Canon used to have some of these models but are out of stock globally now.

You can look for brands like Sony as they have 2 models; the RX100VII and the ZV-1.

If you want acquality video camera then consider on of Powershor GX series cameras or the Sony DSC-RX10IV or 100 series.
