Turn it off, take out the battery, wait a minute, replace battery. Turn it on and off.</P><P>2. Take a squeeze-bulb blower and blow around and into all four sides of the opening. Dirt could be making it stick.</P><P>3. GENTLY tap the camera on a table to see if the cover blased close.</P><P>If none of this works repair is needed. IF anyone can do it.
